The Magic of the Holidays: Welcome to Whitby Lights the Night Festival

Come and kick-off the holiday season with us on November 22, 2024, in a colourful canvas of dazzling lights and seasonal attractions.

Location and Schedule

Whitby Civic Park is all set to host an evening of merriment from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Be prepared to lose yourself in a world of colour, magic, and unforgettable experiences as we paint the night with lights. But the festival extends beyond just one event-filled night; the illuminations will continue to set Whitby aglow every evening from dusk till 10pm until January 5, 2025.

Night-time Farmer’s Market

While the festival has become a signature event in Whitby, it’s the addition of the night-time Farmer’s Market that creates an extra sparkle. Warm yourself with delicious treats from local vendors, or pick up unique seasonal gifts and handmade crafts from your favourite market stalls, now open under the stars.

Entertainment Line-up

A line-up of world-class entertainment is ready to enhance your festive experience. Artists like Adrianna Hopman, Ryan Scott, and Julia Middleton will be performing live, while traditional holiday music and carolers provide the perfect soundtrack to your evening.

Family-Friendly Activities
